Stormy’s Story
At an early age, Stormy got a very different perspective on the emotion that would become the driving force of what she desires to be known for………. LOVE! Growing up in foster care, dropping out of high school in the 9th grade, stripping to provide for her family at 13, watching her mom go to prison, becoming a teen mom herself at 15, holding her mom’s hand at the death, making millions and losing it all, only to come right back and climb again to the top, proved Stormy to be the embodiment of strength, resilience & determination.
From the moment her eyes open, Stormy is moving in the direction of her goals! Her mission in life is to help women all over the world to become the highest and best version of themselves, by knowing themselves, loving themselves, and embracing themselves. In 2017 she birthed Girl Hold My Hand, Inc, an organization designed to accomplish this goal. She believes that when you know who you authentically are, and you grow in your authenticity, there’s absolutely nothing that you can’t do and no one that you can’t be. From this belief, she coined the word “PHUCK,” an acronym meaning “People Hate You Can Kreate.” “Kreate” with a “K” means “to forge history, evidence, origin for your own good…to lie to yourself.” Based on this principle, Stormy coaches women to get out of their heads and into their hearts, to “kreate” their new reality.
Stormy spends hundreds of thousands of dollars a year on her own self-improvement, to expand her knowledge, network, fellowship, and inspiration to continue to build the Girl Hold My Hand movement. Although her teachings can help and inspire everyone, Stormy believes she is truly the voice of the colored women. Her heart is for the Girl Hold My Hand tribe to include women that have been through adversity, people that were told they wouldn’t amount to anything, the ones who were the least, and the last! The ones who were counted out, are people who are discouraged, confused, uncertain, and have no clear vision of what they want for their life.
Stormy has set out to motivate and make a change in the thinking of every colored boy and girl in the world! To most that would be unthinkable! However, that’s what makes Stormy Wellington UNPHUCKWITHABLE!
